"For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually." -Hebrews 7:1-3 The New Testament
Of all the people mentioned in the Bible, few have caused such mystery as the Old Testament priest- Melchizedek. With only a few snips of mention in the Old Testament, one does not realize his uniqueness until the New Testament book of Hebrews.

His majestic nature was so great that even God declared Jesus Christ's service would be patterned after his priesthood:

"So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.  Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec." -Hebrews 5:5-10 The New Testament
We know from the Biblical account that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit in the Virgin Mary. Therefore, He was part man and part God. The scriptures testify to the fact that He was the exact representation of God in the flesh:
"God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;" -Hebrews 1:1-3 The New Testament
Who then was Melchizedek? "Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God..." No one really knows here on earth. However, we can say one thing for certain; He was an intelligent being not of this race. Further, he was truly the definition of an extraterrestrial-intelligent-being! Totally beyond our scientific understanding.

Now I'm not saying that Melchizedek was a four foot, almond-eyed grey or a Nephilimite giant. I'm saying that the Bible tells us that he is the greatest being that ever visited this planet next to Jesus Christ and that he has NO genetic relation to our race. He is a true extraterrestrial that evidently looked just like us!

Next time you hear someone tell you that there is no mention of an ET in the Bible, ask them- "Who was Melchizedek?"
